Kota Kinabalu: Doodle Malaysia will be organising Conteng-Bah!, an event that celebrates creative products and services in arts and crafts of Sabahan entrepreneurs and artists.
Scheduled to be held at Riverson Mall Sabah from July 22-23 from 10am until 10pm, the event aims to create a linkage between Sabahan art with the world.
It is also brought together by Hive Studio and Jesselton Artisan Market and sponsored by the mall with support from UMS, KK Jazz festival, Sabah Institute of Art, and Sabah Tourism.
Doodle community will have a meet-and-greet session and showcase all their talents and creativity in a physical space instead of the usual Facebook community page.
Various activities, performances and vendors will light up the event.
Jesselton Artisan Market would bring 70 SMEs and artist vendors participation.
Conteng-Bah! vendors appeal to both children and adults, offering merchandises, homemade products, and artistic works.
There will be family-friendly activities and programs from Tha’ Doodict Collision Art Battle, Art Exhibition by Persatuan Seni Visual Sabah, Seeds, Healing Arty and amazing numbers of workshops ranging from Colouring by Marty Woods, Watercolour by Jerome Liew, and Zentangle by Sarah Salim, all for children and adults alike.
There will also be a special Colors & Senses workshop by Doodict Group for deaf children to be conducted with Dr Pamela Yong, a Seeds fellow.
Light Busker performances, art culture and lovely community would also be at the event to set a great art ambience for Conteng-Bah!
