China’s plan to set up consulate office here timely: NGO
Sandakan: The plan by the People’s Republic of China to set up a Consulate Office in Sabah is the right move that will further strengthen the existing cordial bilateral relationship between Malaysia and China.
Sabah Chinese Secondary Independent Schools Committee Union (Sabah DongZong) Chairman, Tan Sri Andrew Liew said the opening of the China Consulate in the State would further stimulate cooperation in terms of businesses, education and culture.
“It will bring benefits to both countries,” he said.
Liew was among those who met with China Consul-General to Kuching, Lii Quan and delegation who were at the State capital recently.
