Chinese New Year Open House in Ranau
YB Datuk Seri Panglima Masidi Manjun, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Environment of Sabah and also the member of the State Legislative Assembly (ADUN) Karanaan Ranau as the Guest of Honor and YB Datuk Dr Ewon Ebin, Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation Malaysia who is also the Member of Parliament for Ranau as the Special Guest for the Chinese New Year Open House by the Hokkien Association, Hakka Association and Peranakan Tionghua Association Ranau and was held at the Ranau Community Hall on the 9th of February 2014. During the event, special provision from YB Datuk Seri Panglima Masidi Manjun was presented to the Hakka Association, Tionghua Association and the Hakka and the Ranau Chinese Chamber each receiving RM12,888. YB Datuk Seri Panglima Masidi Manjun, Menteri Pelancongan, Kebudayaan dan Alam Sekitar merangkap ADUN N30 Karanaan Ranau sebagai Tetamu Kehormat dan YB Datuk Dr Ewon Ebin, Menteri Sains, Teknologi dan Inovasi Malaysia merangkap Ahli Parlimen Ranau sebagai Tetamu Khas dalam Majlis Rumah Terbuka Tahun Baru Cina Gabungan Persatuan Hokkien, Persatuan Hakka dan Persatuan Peranakan Tionghua Ranau yang telah diadakan di Dewan Masyarakat Ranau pada 9 Februari 2014. Dalam acara tersebut, peruntukan khas daripada YB Datuk Seri Panglima Masidi Manjun telah diberikan kepada Persatuan Hakka, Persatuan Tionghua dan Persatuan Hokkien dan Dewan Perniagaan Cina Ranau yang masing-masing menerima sebanyak RM12,888. Kelihatan dalam gambar, Masidi dan Ewon bersama-sama dalam majlis ‘Lou Sang’ sempena dengan perayaan tersebut.
