Datuk Masidi Manjun bersalaman dengan Presiden Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS), Datuk Joseph Pairin Kitingan ketika menghadiri perasmian Kongres PBS 2009, di Grand Ballroom, Magellan Sutera, Kota Kinabalu, pada malam 7 November 2009. Perasmian kongres tersebut disempurnakan oleh Perdana Menteri, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Abdul Razak.
