Datuk Masidi Manjun is also a member of the Sabah State Legislative Assembly (Adun) Karanaan.
Datuk Masidi Manjun memotong riben untuk merasmikan tandas selepas menyempurnakan Majlis Perasmian Projek Sanitasi dan Bekalan Paip Graviti sumbangan badan bukan kerajaan (NGO), di Kampung Pahu, Ranau, pada tengah hari 8 Ogos 2009. Datuk Masidi Manjun juga merupakan Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri (Adun) Karanaan.
