Datuk Masidi Manjun, was also given the honour to release the birds at the Sutera Harbour Resort 52nd Merdeka Month Launching Ceremony at the Tennis Arena, Harbour Marina & Country Club, Sembulan, near Kota Kinabalu on 7 August 2009. The launching ceremony was culminated by Sabah's Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Musa Aman.

Datuk Masidi Manjun turut diberi penghormatan melepaskan burung di Majlis Pelancaran Bulan Kemerdekaan Ke-52 Sutera Harbour Resort, di Arena Tenis, di Harbour Marina & Country Club, di Sembulan, dekat Kota Kinabalu, pada 7 Ogos 2009. Majlis pelancaran tersebut disempurnakan oleh Ketua Menteri Sabah, Datuk Seri Musa Aman.
