Sabah’s Chief Minister, Yang Amat Berhormat Datuk Seri Panglima Musa Haji Aman, receiving a memento in the form of a framed photograph from President of the Sabah Brunei Society, YB Datuk Haji Yusoff bin Datuk Haji Mohd. Ketua Menteri Sabah, Yang Amat Berhormat Datuk Seri Panglima Musa Haji Aman, bermain gambus sambil diiringi oleh Menteri Pelancongan, Kebudayaan dan Alam Sekitar (dua dari kanan), Datuk Masidi Manjun, Presiden Persatuan Masyarakat Brunei Sabah (PMBS), YB Datuk Haji Yusoff bin Datuk Haji Mohd. Kasim (tiga dari kanan), serta ahli-ahli jawatankuasa penganjur lain. Pesta Gambus yang berlangsung selama dua hari ini telah diadakan dari 24 hingga 25 Julai 2010 bertempat di Dewan Masyarakat Papar.

Datuk Masidi Manjun in 5th Sabah International Folklore Festival 2010 prime dinner

Sabah’s Head of State, His Excellency Tun Datuk Seri Panglima Hj. Ahmadshah Bin Abdullah, playing the violin to officiate the 5th Sabah International Folklore Festival 2010 prime dinner which was held at the Magellan Sutera Harbour Grand Balroom on 23 July. Also present were Sabah’s Minister of Tourism, Culture and Environment, Datuk Masidi Manjun, and Sabah Cultural Board Chairman, Datuk Wences Angang.

Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sabah, TYT Tun Datuk Seri Panglima Hj. Ahmadshah Bin Abdullah, bermain biola sempena perasmian majlis makan malam Pesta Folklor Antarabangsa Sabah ke-5 yang berlangsung di Grand Ballroom Magellan Sutera Harbour pada 23 Julai. Juga hadir adalah Menteri Pelancongan, Kebudayaan dan Alam Sekitar, Datuk Masidi Manjun, dan Pengerusi Lembaga Kebudayaan Sabah, Datuk Wences Angang.

Menteri Pelancongan, Kebudayaan dan Alam Sekitar, Datuk Masidi Manjun, mempersembahkan cenderahati dalam bentuk potret berbingkai dari Pesta Folklor tahun sebelumnya kepada Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sabah, TYT Tun Datuk Seri Panglima Hj. Ahmadshah Bin Abdullah, semasa makan malam Pesta Folklor Antarabangsa Sabah ke-5 yang berlangsung di Grand Ballroom Magellan Sutera Harbour pada 23 Julai.

Founder and Managing Director of Orion Expeditions Cruises, Sarina Bratton, met with Datuk Masidi Manjun

MORE WILL COME TO SABAH FOR SUSTAINABLE TOURISM: Founder and Managing Director of Orion Expeditions Cruises, Sarina Bratton, met with Sabah Minister of Tourism, Culture and Environment, Datuk Masidi Manjun to announce the inaugural voyage of Orion II to Sabah next year. Australian-based Orion is the latest company to offer luxurious cruise packages to Sabah but with an environmental mission. Passengers on board the cruise have a chance to go on a holiday of a lifetime when they partner with local communities in environmental awareness and education programs.

“Orion is a product that appeals to people who seek mental stimulation of new experiences, places and discovery whilst enjoying the comfort of luxury surroundings”, said Bratton. “This is a great way forward to position Sabah as the premier nature destination in the region. We are the best of Borneo”, Datuk Masidi said.

Pengasas dan Pengarah Urusan Orion Expeditions Cruises, Sarina Bratton, telah menemui Menteri Pelancongan, Kebudayaan dan Alam Sekitar, Datuk Masidi Manjun, bagi mengumumkan pelayaran pertama Orion II ke Sabah pada tahun hadapan. Orion yang berasal dari Australia ialah syarikat terbaru yang menawarkan pakej pelayaran mewah ke Sabah dengan misi yang mesra alam. Para pelayar Orion akan berpeluang menikmati percutian yang hebat apabila mereka bekerjasama dengan komuniti tempatan dalam memupuk kesedaran alam sekitar serta mengadakan program pendidikan.
