CORDIAL: Home Minister, Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein, embracing Sabah’s Minister of Tourism, Culture and Environment, Datuk Masidi Manjun, who welcomed his arrival at the Handicraft Market in Kota Kinabalu, on 18 October. Hishammuddin who came to Sabah for a visit also spent some time browsing at the market.

AKRAB: Menteri Dalam Negeri, Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein mendakap Menteri Pelancongan, Kebudayaan dan Alam Sekitar Sabah, Datuk Masidi Manjun yang menyambut ketibaan beliau di Pasar Kraftangan, di Kota Kinabalu, pada petang 18 Oktober 2009. Hishammuddin yang melawat Sabah turut meluangkan masa berkunjung ke pasar tersebut.

Datuk Masidi Manjun in “Born Rich” Premiere Gala Dinner

Datuk Masidi Manjun making his way to the "Born Rich" Premiere Gala Dinner held in 1Borneo Central Atrium on 17 October 2009. Part of the of this much-anticipated drama featured scenic locations from around Sabah.

Datuk Masidi Manjun semasa menghadiri Majlis Makan Malam Gala Perdana “Born Rich” yang telah berlangsung di Atrium Tengah 1Borneo pada 17 Oktober. Sebahagian daripada babak drama yang ditunggu-tunggu ini menampilkan pelbagai lokasi menarik di sekitar Sabah.

Datuk Masidi Manjun invited on stage for a group photo with distinguished guests and the main casts of the “Born Rich” Hong Kong drama serial by TVB, namely, Chan Man Chi, Kenneth Ma Kwok Ming, Lo Ka Leung, Lui Leung Wai, Ma Tak Chung and Nancy Sit Ka Yin, in the “Born Rich” Premiere Gala Dinner held in 1Borneo Central Atrium on 17 October 2009.

Datuk Masidi Manjun dijemput ke atas pentas untuk foto beramai-ramai bersama para tetamu kenamaan dan barisan pelakon utama drama “Born Rich”, iaitu sebuah drama bersiri Hong Kong yang dibintangi oleh Chan Man Chi, Kenneth Ma Kwok Ming, Lo Ka Leung, Lui Leung Wai, Ma Tak Chung and Nancy Sit Ka Yin. Majlis Makan Malam Gala Perdana “Born Rich” telah berlangsung di Atrium Tengah 1Borneo pada 17 Oktober.

VIPs at the Borneo Bird Festival witnessing the official designation of the Sepilok-Kabili Forest Reserve as an Important Bird Area (IBA) by BirdLife International and Malaysia Nature Society. The global IBA programme aims to identify and conserve a network of critical sites for the world's birds.

Para tetamu kehormat di Pesta Burung Borneo menyaksikan penaiktarafan Hutan Simpan Kabili-Sepilok Sebagai Kawasan Penting Burung (IBA) oleh BirdLife Antarabangsa dan Persatuan Pencinta Alam Malaysia. Program IBA sedunia ini ditujukan untuk mengenalpasti dan memulihara kawasan-kawasan kritikal untuk burung-burung sedunia.

Birdwatching photographers from Nikon Malaysia introducing a Digiscoping system to Datuk Masidi Manjun during the inaugural Borneo Bird Festival which is held at the Rainforest Discovery Centre (RDC), Sepilok, Sandakan on 10 Oct 2009. Lectures, exhibitions and talks are held on photography, bird watching techniques, conservation efforts and identification of birdwatching sites. A race to find the most bird species is also held.

Jurugambar dari Nikon Malaysia memperkenalkan sistem Digiscoping kepada Datuk Masidi Manjun semasa Pesta Burung Borneo yang pertama yang berlangsung di Pusat Penemuan Hutan Hujan (RDC), Sepilok, Sandakan,pada 10 Oktober. Antara aktiviti menarik adalah seperti kursus, pameran dan ceramah mengenai fotografi, teknik memerhati burung, kaedah pemuliharaan dan identifikasi kawasan memerhati burung. Perlumbaan mengenalpasti spesies burung terbanyak juga diadakan.

Author 'A Field Guide to the Birds of Borneo', Susan Myers together with Datuk Masidi Manjun after the launch of her book at the Borneo Bird Festival. Myer's book was one of the two books launched at the Festival held in Sandakan.

Penulis buku, 'A Field Guide to the Birds of Borneo', Susan Myers, bersama Datuk Masidi Manjun selepas pelancaran buku beliau di Pesta Burung Borneo. Buku karya Myers adalah satu daripada dua buku yang dilancarkan pada Pesta Burung Borneo, Sandakan.

Datuk Masidi Manjun memerhatikan gambar tupai terbang yang dipamerkan semasa Pesta Burung Borneo pertama yang diadakan di Pusat Penemuan Hutan Hujan (RDC), Sepilok, Sandakan, dari 10 hingga 15 Oktober 2009. Pesta ini adalah anjuran bersama Lembaga Pelancongan Sabah, Jabatan Perhutanan Sabah serta Persatuan Pencinta Alam Malaysia.

Datuk Masidi Manjun chairing a meeting to discuss the latest breakthrough in H1N1 prevention in Sabah, at the Ministry's Meeting Room, Wisma Tun Fuad Stephens, Karamunsing, on 6 October. Datuk Masidi is the Chairman of the Sabah State Cabinet Committee for H1N1 prevention.

Datuk Masidi Manjun mempengerusikan mesyuarat mengenai perkembangan terkini pencegahan penularan wabak H1N1 di Sabah, di Bilik Mesyuarat kementerian di Wisma Tun Fuad Stephens, Karamunsing, Kota Kinabalu, pada petang 6 Oktober 2009. Datuk Masidi Manjun merupakan Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Kabinet Negeri Sabah bagi memantau wabak H1N1.
