SIFF 2009 WINNER: Datuk Masidi Manjun, presenting the trophy to manager of the Filipino dancers group which was named as the winner of the Sabah International Folklore Festival 2009 competition, at the Sabah Cultural Centre, Penampang, on July 7th 2009. The Filipino group also took home three other awards namely the Best Male Dancer, won by Mark Torente, Best Music and Best Choreography.

PEMENANG SIFF 2009: Datuk Masidi Manjun menyampaikan piala kepada pengurus kumpulan penari dari Filipina yang dinobatkan sebagai pemenang pertandingan Tarian Rakyat Antarabangsa Sabah 2009, di Dewan Pusat Kebudayaan Sabah, Penampang, pada malam 7 Julai 2009. Kumpulan penari dari Filipina juga membawa pulang tiga lagi hadiah lain iaitu Penari Lelaki Terbaik menerusi Mark Torente, Muzik Terbaik dan Koreografi Terbaik.

SIGNING OF MoU: Datuk Masidi Manjun, witnessed the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Sabah State Government and Yayasan Sime Darby, which was held at the Tabin Wildlife Resort, Lahad Datu, on June 30th 2009.

SIGNING OF MoU: Datuk Masidi Manjun, witnessed the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Sabah State Government and Yayasan Sime Darby, which was held at the Tabin Wildlife Resort, Lahad Datu, on June 30th 2009. Sabah State Government was represented by the Director of Sabah Wildlife Department, Laurentius Ambu, while Yayasan Sime Darby was represented by its Chairman, Tun Musa Hitam. The MoU dictates that Yayasan Sime Darby will allocate RM7.3 million of funding to the Sabah Wildlife Department in the effort to conserve protected wildlife in Sabah.

METERAI MOU: Datuk Masidi Manjun menyaksikan pemeteraian perjanjian persefahaman (MoU) antara Kerajaan Negeri Sabah dengan Yayasan Sime Darby, yang diadakan di Tabin Wildlife Resort, di Lahad Datu, pada 30 Jun 2009. Kerajaan Negeri Sabah diwakili oleh Pengarah Jabatan Hidupan Liar Sabah, Laurentius Ambu manakala Yayasan Sime Darby diwakili oleh Pengerusinya, Tun Musa Hitam. Menerusi MoU tersebut Yayasan Sime Darby memberi dana RM7.3 juta kepada Jabatan Hidupan Liar Sabah dalam usaha pemeliharaan haiwan yang dilindungi di Sabah.
