Datuk Masidi Manjun (fourth from right) showing a bag designed by the Ranau Tionghua Native Association who paid a respectful visit to him at the Ranau Division Umno Office, Ranau on April 30th 2009. The bag is among the alternatives in the effort of curbing the use of plastic bags as shopping bags, which contributes in environment pollution. The visit was led by the Chairman, Aldem Chia (sixth from left).

Datuk Masidi Manjun (keempat dari kanan) menunjukkan beg yang direka oleh Persatuan Peranakan Tionghua Ranau yang membuat kunjungan hormat terhadap beliau di Pejabat Umno Bahagian Ranau, di pekan Ranau, pada 30 April 2009. Beg tersebut merupakan antara alternatif dalam usaha mengelakkan penggunaan plastik sebagai beg ketika membeli barangan yang mencemarkan alam sekitar. Kunjungan hormat tersebut diketuai oleh Pengerusinya, Aldem Chia (keenam dari kiri).

Datuk Masidi Manjun (centre) singing along the UiTM anthem during the Sabah UiTM Alumni Association Charity Dinner at Le Meridien Hotel, Kota Kinabalu on 25th April 2009. Datuk Masidi Manjun is also the Yang Dipertua for the Sabah UiTM Alumni Association. The charity dinner was held in order to raise fund to assist UiTM students with financial problems to carry on with their education. Also present was the Director of Sabah UiTM, Dr. Wornt Haji Kabul (second from left).

Datuk Masidi Manjun (tengah) turut menyanyikan lagu UiTM ketika Majlis Makan Malam Amal Persatuan Alumni UiTM Sabah, di Le Meridien Hotel, di Kota Kinabalu, pada 25 April 2009. Datuk Masidi Manjun merupakan Yang Dipertua Persatuan Alumni UiTM Sabah. Majlis amal tersebut diadakan untuk mengisi tabung bagi membantu penuntut UiTM yang menghadapi kekangan kewangan untuk terus menuntut di UiTM. Turut kelihatan Pengarah UiTM Sabah, Dr Wornt Haji Kabul (kedua dari kiri).

Datuk Masidi Manjun witnessed the presentation of memento by Region 2 Commander, First Admiral Syed Zahiruddin Putra Syed Osman to Mayor Datuk Illyas Ibrahim in “Freedom of Entry” ceremony on 18th April at Segama Waterfront, Kota Kinabalu.

Datuk Masidi Manjun witnessed the presentation of memento by Region 2 Commander, First Admiral Syed Zahiruddin Putra Syed Osman to Mayor Datuk Illyas Ibrahim in "Freedom of Entry" ceremony on 18th April at Segama Waterfront, Kota Kinabalu. The ceremony takes after a tradition among European cities dating back to medieval times, that when any warship docked at the city port or military detachment entered a town, it had to declare its peaceful intentions before being allowed into the city. The event was jointly organised by City Hall, Sabah Tourism Board and the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN).
