Kem Skor A SPM Closing Ceremony
YB Masidi Manjun who is also the State Education Exco officiated the closing ceremony of the Kem Skor A SPM on the 7th October 2012 at the Kg Lohan Ranau Rest House. The main purpose of this camp is to help SPM 2012 students to achieve grade As in SPM for the overall subject in the examination as well as providing ongoing guidance to the students to improve the weaknesses in the critical subjects of the examination.
YB Datuk Masidi Manjun merangkap Exco Pelajaran Negeri Sabah merasmikan perasmian penutupan Kem Skor A SPM pada 7 Oktober 2012 bertempat di Rumah Rehat, Kg Lohan Ranau. Tujuan utama kem ini adalah untuk membantu pelajar SPM 2012 untuk mencapai gred A dalam keseluruhan mata pelajaran dalam peperiksaan tersebut disamping memberikan bimbingan berterusan kepada pelajar untuk memperbaiki segala kelemahan bagi subjek-subjek yang kritikal dalam peperiksaan tersebut.

Taylor University Lake Side Campus visit
YB Datuk Masidi Manjun, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Environment Sabah who is also the Sabah State Education Exco on a working visit to Taylor University Lake Side Campus, Kuala Lumpur on the 24th of September 2012. The purpose of the visit was to explore the new campus and look at the potential for collaboration, particularly in aspects related to research in the tourism field. The school's Vice-Chancellor, Prof Dato 'Dr Hassan Said welcomed YB Datuk Masidi Manjun and those who accompanied him, YBhg Datuk Michael, Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Environment and YBhg Datuk Irene Benggon Charuruks, General Manager of Sabah Tourism Board.
YB Datuk Masidi Manjun, Menteri Pelancongan, Kebudayaan dan Alam Sekitar merangkap Exco Pelajaran Negeri Sabah membuat lawatan kerja selama sehari ke Taylor University Lake Side Campus, Kuala Lumpur pada 24 September 2012. Tujuan lawatan tersebut adalah untuk meninjau kawasan kampus baru tersebut disamping potensi untuk kerjasama terutamanya dalam aspek-aspek yang berkaitan dengan penyelidikan dalam bidang pelancongan. Dalam lawatan tersebut, YB Datuk Masidi Manjun telah disambut oleh Naib Canselor sekolah tersebut iaitu Prof Dato' Dr Hassan Said. Turut serta dalam rombongan tersebut adalah YBhg Datuk Michael Emban, Setiausaha Tetap Kementerian Pelancongan, Kebudayaan dan Alam Sekitar Sabah dan YBhg Datuk Irene Benggon Charuruks, Pengurus Besar Lembaga Pelancongan Sabah.

YB Datuk Masidi Manjun as the moderator during the Sabah International Business Luncheon Talk by YBhg Tan Sri Tony Fernandes, AirAsia group Chief Executive Officer on the 20th September 2012 at the Grand Ballroom, Pacific Sutera Harbour Resort.
YB Datuk Masidi Manjun menjadi moderator kepada acara Sabah International Business Luncheon Talk oleh YBhg Tan Sri Tony Fernandes, Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Kumpulan AirAsia Bhd pada 20 September 2012 bertempat di Grand Ballroom, Pacific Sutera Harbour Resort.

Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in Sabah
YB Datuk Masidi Manjun together with his wife, welcomed the much-anticipated arrival of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and his wife Catherine, at Shangri La Tanjung Aru Resort, Kota Kinabalu on the 14th of September 2012.
